Entire Hotel on 6th: 23 Bedroom, Huge Event Space

Overall, the property suited our needs for a family reunion of 50 perfectly. Our guests were able to get from the main hall on the ground floor to their rooms without having to go outside or via the elevator. The fact that we had three kitchens at our disposal was key to preparing meals for everyone. Were it not for several issues that popped up during our stay, I would have rated this property higher. The biggest problem was parking. The owner advertises three parking stall for guests. Nope. They had a temp structure installed in the three stalls, forcing my guests to pay for street parking. Some of my guests were cited with parking violations for parking in an area where the manager told us to park. Check in was meh. For weeks I tried to secure an early check in. When we arrived nothing was ready for us. Some of the key pad locks failed to work. One of my guests was locked out of his room. And one of the kitchens had a metal bar exposed after the previous guests broke the counter top. As I said were it not for some avoidable inconveniences, I would have given this property and its owner a much higher rating.

Overall, the team had a great stay. The main floor is a great space for workshops as you can open the room dividers to make one big space. We even had an Iron Chef Competition at the hotel, which was a hit. This probably would have been a 5 star rating, but we had a break-in at 4am on our second night. The person got in via the pool courtyard space, accessible through the elevator (which we didn't realize was publicly accessible). Thankfully only one thing was stolen, but our team was a bit shaken up - it could have been a lot worse. It did cause some administrative headaches on our end as well. The Inn Cahoots team did send over a security guard on the third night, but we felt communication could have been improved here.
